July Music Blogosphere Updates

Roskilde Festival & Oasis
Roskilde Festival ended yesterday. Critics and bloggers disagree wildly on britpop icon Oasis' performance Friday night.

M/S Stubnitz -- in Copenhagen
We're in the midst of Copenhagen Jazz Festival, and Club Loco has recently published the full program for jazz concerts aboard the m/s Stubnitz "a former 80m freeze & transport vessel of the GDR high seas fishing fleet based in Rostock". In 1991, Stubnitz was converted into a mobile culture platform visiting key European cities over the next decade: 1994: St. Petersburg; Malmö. 1998: Stockholm; 2000: Lübeck & Hamburg; 2001: Rotterdam: 2005: Copenhagen Rotterdam, Newcastle, Amsterdam & Dunkirk.

Rumpistol & Regnsky
Danish music blog Regnsky presented a thorough & descriptive review of Rumpistol's concert at Roskilde.

Folkekirkens Nødhjælp [Danchurch Aid] managed to collect 10.000 support signatures within Roskilde Fesitvals first 2 days. Impressive!

Club de la Faye
Musikblogs.dk recommends seeing Club de la Faye's performances and discussions, which take their point of departure in live performances and criticial theory.
